At the start of the Monday, August 5, regular meeting of the Township Council, proclamations were given to a Livingston Police officer, a township committee, and a resident.
Officer Kevin Mullaney was honored by the Council for being named Essex County Police Officer of the Year by the Essex County Crime PreventionAssociation. Officer Mullaney works in the community policing and emergency services units within the Livingston department.
“You’re in a position that’s a longtime dream for you and it shows,” mayor Al Anthony said.
