Kiwanis Supports Special Olympics Swim Team

Helen Flores, executive director of the West Essex YMCA, recently spoke to the Kiwanis Club of Livingston about the Y’s Special Olympics swim team, the Piranhas. The team began nine years ago with seven athletes and currently numbers more than 30. It was the first Special Olympics swim team in Essex County, Flores explained.
