Five Fined for DWI In Municipal Court

In recent Municipal Court action, five people were fined for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in unrelated incidents during August and September. Ricky Alston Jr., 27, of Irvington, was charged August 23 with DWI and having an open container of alcohol in his car. The latter charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Alston pled guilty to DWI. John Burkhard, 46, of Roseland, was charged August 3 with DWI; reckless driving; speeding; and failure to produce a driver’s license. The reckless driving and failure to produce license charges were dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
