Lyft Driver is Robbed at Gunpoint

A rideshare driver was robbed and a taxi driver was nearly forced into causing an accident by an intoxicated passenger at about the same time in town this past weekend. Just after midnight on Sunday, November 24, a Lyft driver picked up three passengers. As they drove on Shrewsbury Drive, one of the passengers pulled out a gun and another passenger pulled out a knife, threatening the driver as the third passenger robbed him of $7,500. The suspects, three black males, fled the scene on foot. An extensive search of the area was conducted by police officers from Livingston, Roseland, Essex Fells, Cedar Grove, East Hanover, and West Orange.     To read more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition http://www.etypeservices.com/West%20Essex%20TribuneID480/   ...
