Michael A. Marchitello Sr., 58, died Friday, December 13, at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.
Visitation will take place today, Thursday, December 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O’Boyle Funeral Home in Bloomfield. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 20, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church in East Hanover at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover.
Born in Belleville, Mr. Marchitello lived much of his life in Livingston, spending the last 23 years in East Hanover.
He was self-employed, and the owner of Auto Imports, Auto Repair and Used Car Dealership.
He was the son of Carmen and Joyce McNaughten Marchitello; the father of Michael Marchitello Jr.; and the brother of Anthony Marchitello, Kathryn Marchitello, Joyce Aromando (Marchitello), and Jessica Marchitello.
