Memorial Was Held For Barbara Mather

Barbara Ann Mather died on December 20 in the Green Hill nursing home in West Orange after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was 83 years old. Miss Mather grew up on West Cedar Street in Livingston and graduated from Grover Cleveland High School in 1954. She worked as a broker in New York City and then for Robert Martin and the Martin Family Fund in Saddle River. She also served as president of the Board of PAWS, the Pound Animal Welfare Society of Montclair. Miss Mather is survived by cousins and friends, who held a memorial gathering at the Hugh M. Moriarty Funeral Home in Montclair on December 30. She was interred at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton. The family has announced that donations in Miss Mather’s memory may be sent to PAWS, P.O.
