Victoria R. (née Gloshinski) Mooney died on Sunday, February 9, at her home in Ocean Township. Born in Orange, she had resided in Livingston for over 30 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Cornelius R. Mooney; and her five siblings, Leon, Walter, Laura, Mary Rhoda, and Joseph.
Surviving are her five children: Richard Mooney of Atlantic City, Marianne Beckwith of Mantoloking, Patricia (Michael Schaffter) Mooney of East Hanover, Neil (Kathleen of Wall Township, and Margaret (Robert) Smith of Sandwich, Cape Cod. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place today, Thursday, February 13, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Highway 35 at New Bedford Road, Wall. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 14, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Catharine’s Church, 215 Essex Avenue, Spring Lake.
Burial will be in the Brigadier William C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, in Wrightstown.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
