Alice A. Scheper

Alice A. Scheper, 75, of Livingston, passed away at home peacefully with family by her side on September 24, 2020. Born in Newark, NJ and raised inEastOrange,NJ,Alicehas been aresidentofLivingston, NJ for the last 50 years. Alice was a faithful and devout Roman Catholic who lived a dedicated life as a single, loving mother. While raising and providing for her two sons, Jude and Jason, she went back to school and achieved a B.A. in Accounting from Seton Hall University in 1985. Alice worked as a Senior Accountant at Electric Arc Inc., in Cedar Knolls, NJ until an unfortunate diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis forced her to retire in 1994. She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend who would always listen with an empathetic ear to everyone. Alice is predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Scheper; four brothers, George Jr., Mark, Gary, and Christopher; and two sisters, Mary Clare and Phyllis. She is survived by her beloved and loyal sons, Jude Nedzaandhis wife, Stacy, and Jason Nedza; her loving brother, William Scheper and his wife, Mary Gayle; 12 nieces and nephews; and many close and dear friends, including Janet and Michael Ruane. A funeral Mass was offered on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at St. Philomena's Church, Livingston, NJ. Interment followed at Gate ofHeaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, lww.stjude.org. ...
