Marc Alan Unger

Marc Alan Unger of Livingston, New Jersey, devoted husband, father, son and brother, passed away at Weill-Cornell Medical Center on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the age of 56. Marc was raised in Livingston and later resettled there with his beloved wife, Suzanne, and their two girls, Morgan and Ryann. Marc graduated with a B.S. degree in accounting from Lehigh University in 1986 and subsequently obtained his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. Marc joined Harvest Partners in 2015, and was currently a partner and the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Harvest, Marc held po sitions as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CCMP Capital Advisors. Previously, Marc was the Chief Financial Officer of UBS Capital Americas. He began his career with Ernst and Young. Marc was an avid supporter of Lehigh throughout his life, and it was no surprise when Morgan and Ryann both attended Lehigh as well. Marc served 14 years on the Lehigh University Wall Street Council, and was a member ofthe Lehigh Parents’ Council for seven years, serving as co-chair along with Suzanne for three years. Marc was a devoted father and husband, supporting his girls as soccer coach and constant and loving mentor, while supporting Suzanne in all aspects of her life, including her philanthropic endeavors. Marc is survived by his beloved wife of almost 30 years, Suzanne; his daughters, Morgan and Ryann; his parents, Sandy and Mike Unger; his brother, Jeffrey Unger and his wife, Alisa; his father-in-law, Allen Greenwald; and his brother-in-law, Douglas and his wife, Danielle. A private outdoor service will be held.
