The Township Council discussed opening Northland Pool, construction of the new Department of Public Works garage, and the return to inperson meetings at its Monday, June 21, meeting.
Township manger Barry Lewis noted that he, along with the Council and township employees, have heard from a number of residents about their desire to see the Northland Pool opened to the public this summer.
Lewis said that, since American Rescue Plan funding can be used to reimburse for lost revenues from utilities, including pools, that money could be used to open Northland on the weekends.
