Board Approves Pharmacy Application

At its July 6 meeting, the Livingston Planning Board discussed two township ordinances and a return to in-person meetings, and approved an application for a drive-through pharmacy at Livingston Center. Ordinances Prior to the hearing, the Board discussed a referral from the Township Council of an ordinance regarding another overlay district, and another regarding cannabis business licenses. Ordinance No. 19-2021 concerns the creation of an overlay district redevelopment plan for 630 Route 10, near the East Hanover border. The plan was developed by Beacon Planning and Consulting Services and was approved on first reading by the Council on June 21. The ordinance is expected to be read a second time at the Council’s next meeting on July 12. The Board agreed in a majority vote that the ordinance is consistent with the Master Plan.
