RENOVATES GARDEN FOR SILVER AWARD: Amy Gu, a member of Girl Scout Troop 20290 in Livingston, recently completed a renovation of the “Heritage Courtyard” garden at Heritage Middle School as part of her Silver Award. The garden, originally created in 2004-06 by members of the school’s Garden Club and Student Council, consists primarily of lawn, bushes and a few trees, with a brick path that had become overgrown. Gu removed the grass from the path, and planted flower beds and wisteria for the arbor. The Silver Award is the second highest award available in Girl Scouting.   To read more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition http://www.etypeservices.com/West%20Essex%20TribuneID480/ ...
