Election Coverage

Beginning next month, as it does each year for local contested races, the West Essex Tribune’s coverage will ramp up for the upcoming Board of Education election. This year’s format will feature slight changes that reflect the recent shift toward voting by mail (and, as a result, people voting early). Every fall in which Livingston has a contested Board of Education or Township Council election, the Tribune provides the candidates the opportunity to share their thoughts in the paper, through a series of questions leading up to the November election. These questions are created with the help of the Livingston League of Women Voters and designed to help our readers get an idea of each candidate’s viewpoints, so that an educated choice can be made when voting. They offer opportunities for readers to directly compare the candidates on a handful of important topics.     To read more please log in or subscribe to the digital edition http://www.etypeservices.com/West%20Essex%20TribuneID480/   ...
