Marcia R. Weiss, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on June 19. Marcia was known for her generous spirit, warmth, kindness and love for her family.Marcia was born in the Bronx on May 11, 1941, to Benjamin and Mildred Semel. She graduated from Queens College and married her husband, David, in 1963. They settled in Livingston to raise their family more than 50 years ago. Marcia went on to get her MBAfrom Kean College. She was a popular teacher in Florham Park for decades.She is survived by her husband of 60 years; her daughter, Randi; her son, Craig (Ruth); her granddaughters, Nicole, Jenna and Carly; her sister, Vicky; and brother, Terry.A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel in Livingston. Shiva will be held at the home of Craig and Ruth in Cedar Knolls on Sunday and Monday. Donations can be made to the Daughters of Israel in West Orange or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
