Think Local, Buy Local, Be a Local

Two of Livingston's long term businesses are shuttering their doors within weeks of one another. We have said good-bye to Herman's Auto Parts, whose logo "Stop Squirmin', Call Herman" was a regular sight on the pages of this newspaper for years; and within the next two weeks, we will also see Temple Barber Shop, where the Tribune's former editor/publisher Kit Cone went regularly to have "his ears lowered," close. It is sad to see that after an aggregate of more than 100 years, these two Livingston staples are gone.
